Throughout history, there have been many different opinions about the life of Marie Antoinette.  Some have believed that she cruelly stated, “Let them eat cake,” in response to the French peasants’ bread shortage.  Others have believed that she was a young, naïve girl thrust into a position of power at too young an age to know any better.





You have watched a documentary about the life of Marie Antoinette, and you have watched a fictionalized film version of her life.  Please read the given articles which provide two more perspectives of the infamous queen of France.
You will write a comparison and contrast essay about these multiple perspectives of Marie Antoinette’s life.  In your essay you must include:
·         3 sources (i.e. documentary, film, article)
·         3 points about her life (i.e. money spending, family life, execution)

You will write a 5-paragraph essay in either the “block” format or the “point-by-point” format (this is your choice).   Your essay must be:
·         Written in English.
·         Typed (12-point, Times New Roman)
